Part Two - Assessing Your Alpacas

If you already have alpacas but are keen to understand them better and assess their quality then this is the course for you - better still bring some of your alpacas with you!

* Understanding conformation and assessing heritable traits
* Assessing your own alpacas and fibre quality
* Planning your breeding programme
* Selecting stud males
* Preparation for shows and show etiquette

Part Three - Successful Breeding Strategies

This full day course will teach you about strategies to ensure your breeding programme is successful

* Confirming your breeding programme
* Applying your knowledge of heritable and non-heritable traits
* Selecting stud males
* Successful matings
* Pregnancy diagnosis
* Financing your matings
