Welcome to Zarza Alpacas. Hilary Shenton is the driving force behind this thriving business which breeds both huacayas and suris and operates from both the UK and Italy.

Pam Smith who has worked alongside Hilary for several years, now manages the UK herd day-to-day and both she and Hilary are always happy to talk to you about any aspect of alpaca ownership and breeding, whether you are a newcomer to the wonderful world of alpacas, or already have alpacas of your own and are looking to develop your herd.

As a BAS qualified Judge and a graduate of the Alpaca Breeders Fibre School in Peru, Hilary has extensive knowledge of alpaca care and breeding, and is keen to share her knowledge and expertise with anyone who, like her, loves these charming animals.
